Julianna Boye
Public Affairs Track
Julianna Boye is a junior political science and legal communications student at Howard University from West Bloomfield, Michigan. Her passions include supporting the African Diaspora, social and urban policy, civil rights, and the promotion of social justice. Boye serves as the Chief of Staff for DC College Democrats, a member of the Howard University Student Association Judiciary, and the award-winning Howard University Speech and Debate team. Currently, Boye works for Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley on Capitol Hill where she supports and advocates for the constituents of the 7th district of Massachusetts. To continue her goal of supporting the African Diaspora through service initiatives, Boye is the CEO of the non-profit organization, Comfort Africa, Incorporated. While pursuing a graduate degree in Public Policy, she also plans to obtain the Juris Doctorate in a dual degree program. She aspires to work in law and politics to create policy that shapes laws to empower marginalized communities, with particular focus on the Black community.
