Mayowa Fageyinbo

Program Assistant, International Affairs

Mayowa Fageyinbo is the Program Assistant for International Affairs at the Ralph J. Bunche Center. In this role, she is responsible for assisting in coordinating of the center’s seminars, workshops, symposiums, and events. Prior to joining the Bunche team, she worked for the Maryland Department of Health with youth at a mental health treatment center. She graduated from Howard University in 2019 with a bachelor’s in psychology and a minor in sociology. Throughout her educational and professional experience, Mayowa has kept a global focus through studying and interning abroad. In 2017, she studied abroad in Popayán, Colombia. In 2018, she interned and studied abroad in Kisumu, Kenya. As a professional, Mayowa started a college preparatory program through her agency under the Maryland Department of health. Through this program, she taught youth about the importance of going abroad and introduced them to others’ experiences. Mayowa maintains a passion for youth development, education, and global health.
