Bunche International Affairs Center for screening of the short documentary film\, “The Black Stars” followed by a panel discussion with Lakayana Drury\, Executive Producer and Founder of Word is Bond.  The film centers around eight Black men who traveled to Ghana for a two-week leadership expedition in the summer of 2023. The documentary sheds light on the experiences of young Black men growing up in the Pacific Northwest and the importance of investment in Black youth leadership. \n
