In 2017, the Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center hosted the inaugural HBCU Symposium on Study Abroad, entitled “Prioritize & Lead,” with a mission of increasing student participation in international learning opportunities at historically Black institutions across the nation. It was decided at the 2017 conference that internationally focused HBCU administrators, faculty, and staff would convene every two years for a biennial symposium on study abroad. The second symposium took place in November 2019. Please check back in early Fall 2021 to register for the 2021 Prioritize & Lead: HBCU Symposium on Study Abroad!
